Mel's Diner

Mel's Diner, the place you won't want to miss when coming to Augusta. The building originally was the livery stable. On the walls are framed old newspapers and pictures of Augusta's history. A quaint, intimate and friendly restaurant, plus picnic tables for outdoor eating during the summer.

Breakfast on bun is a popular favorite with the local community. How about some biscuits and gravy, a regular weekend special. Want a hamburger? We serve a buffalo burger, now that's a burger. Home cooked daily specials are sure to please. During the summer, try one of our 24 different flavors of ice cream.

The local ranchers seem to think this is the perfect place to enjoy a meal. Why even the regular cattle buyers from Texas make this their customary place to eat when in Augusta.

Large parking lot and RVs are welcome.
